Pretty Pink Bridal Shower
For Women’s Day, I spent a lovely afternoon with ladies (and some gentlemen) at a pink themed high tea bridal shower for our dear friend Jody (who is tying the knot in little over a month). Her shower was hosted by her Mom and Jill (who also shares the honour of being her bridesmaid) at her home.
I had the chance, not only to create her invitations, but also to help with the food preparation and the decor. It really was a great opportunity see what goes on behind the scenes and how much effort gets put into hosting a shower. I made a few notes of things to keep on mind for my bridal shower- and I will definitely attempt to be dressed up all the time, so that I am not caught of guard, when it is my shower!
Here are a few photographs I managed to take before the shower started. I didn’t take any during the shower because Jody was lucky to have gorgeous professional photographer Taryn Burger (also her soon to be sister-in-law) take the photographs of her day and the people sharing it with her.

P.S. The flowers were placed in my jars (baby Purity jars to be exact) that I have been collecting from work collegues.
