Cupcakes and Champagne Bridal Shower

Last weekend was crazy, with the wedding, two bachelorette parties and a bridal shower all happening one after the other. I survived, and today I want to share the photographs of Merlyn’s naughty bridal shower- who is tying the knot in a weeks time!

The festivities began with Merlyn’s bachelorette the Friday night, at Casablanca in Greenpoint, where the theme was Cupcakes and Champagne. The night included attempting to pole dance, buying Merlyn drinks, chatting and mostly dancing of course.

The next day was her bridal shower where guests were asked to wear black if they are married and white if they are single. Naturally, I wore a combination of black and white… We were welcomed with pink Champagne and her ladies rocked hot pink printed t-shirts . I was drawn to the eats table first, of course, where there were the happiest looking cupcakes. After I realised what the candles were I knew this would be no ordinary bridal shower!

Games were played, advice was given, gifts were opened, Merlyn was punished, treats (namely the cupcakes) and naughty gifts were awarded to a few lucky guests and food was served. Here are some photographs of the afternoon:
