A Tea Party
Today’s post is inspired by my ‘high school bestie’ Monique. A few weeks ago her sister hand-delivered an adorable package- a brightly coloured polka dot box, where inside, there were two tea-cups (a pink and green one) and matching saucers. She also added a lovely card (which is so Angus and I), with a sweet message letting us know that this is a pre-wedding/ engagement gift and thanking us for allowing her to do a guest post a few weeks ago (see here).The main reason we are sharing this today is because it is Monique’s birthday and it is our way of thanking her for her very thoughtful gift!
So, dear Monique, we wish you a very beautiful and magical day! Thank-you for the many years we have shared together and I hope there will be more to come! Please keep your sense of humour and amazing sense of style. Love you, from Sasha and Angus.
Another reason to celebrate is that there are ONLY four months left till our big day. I was inspired a couple of days ago to have shoot, commemorating our milestone with our sweet tea cups, cupcakes and pretty flowers. We asked our dear friend Nuhaa to capture our ‘picnic session’. A very BIG thank-you goes out to her for her wonderful direction and keen eye for detail (she was both the photographer and a wonderful art director!).
We are really excited for the next few weeks because we scheduled a few more guest posts. In this way we will be sharing more wedding day details and our plans for the future.
